The Academy Conversion Process Course will detail all the actions that make for a successful conversion.
This unique training session will cover not just the legal activities required to become an academy but also the aspects of due diligence, external support, the governance requirements and statutory requirements that frequently go unnoticed. The work involved in an academy conversion should never be underestimated and this course will better prepare schools for what is now an expectation – a fully academised system.
The outcome of this session is to understand the conversion process better which will allow a school to plan for the capacity that is needed to convert without impacting on day to day school commitments.
Most schools underestimate the work involved in an academy conversion and start to react rather than proactively plan for the actions required to convert.
This session will give schools a better understanding of the process, time commitment, documents entered into and required infrastructure of creating a Multi Academy Trust.
The building of the Trust and the people part are the actual start of an academy conversion journey and this session will explain what this looks like before the formal part of the conversion. This joined up approach takes concern away from the schools so the school can focus on Teaching & Learning.
