Dr Sarah Allen

Dr Sarah Allen is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and the Lead Psychologist for Health and Justice Services in CNWL NHS Trust and leads their Offender Personality Disorder Services in prisons. CNWL provide healthcare into a number of prisons and young offender institutes across the South of England and have a small number of low secure and step-down beds and a number of community forensic teas and liaison and diversion services in London. Sarah has worked in secure care for over 20 years and is passionate about endeavouring to maximise access and effectiveness of psychological interventions and wider systemic approaches. She is very interested in developing staff support and development opportunities to address retention and recruitment issues and to ensure a psychologically safe and reflective culture for employees working in such challenging contexts.
