It was great to join the Convenzis team again for the patient flow event. As always, the team were incredibly accommodating and happy to help. The quality of attendees is always of a high standard and relevant to the patient flow and to us also. We continue to have great discussions and footfall around our stand with no need to try and encourage people to come and see us. Really positive event for us and we look forward to working with Convenzis in the future.

Carin has worked in the NHS for 24 years.
1998, started NHS career with a hotel service provider at Great Ormond Street Hospital.
2011, became acting director of Estates & Facilities at CUH.
2012, became board level director of Estates and Facilities at Mid Essex Hospital, extended in 2015 to be Executive Director of Strategy and Corporate Services.
2016, appointed as Chief Estates & Facilities Officer across Mid Essex, Basildon and Southend Hospitals as part of the Joint Executive across all three Trusts.
From January 2018 re-joined CUH after a five and a half year break as the Director of Capital, Estates & Facilities Management leading on all land and property matters, infrastructure, design and construction and operational services.
Certified member of British Institute of Facilities Management (CBIFM).
Member of Institute of Healthcare Engineering & Estate Management (MIHEEM).
Leads the CUH design and construction work streams for two new hospital builds equating to over £0.5bn.
CUH Board level net zero lead.
