Duleep Allirajah is Assistant Director of Policy and Campaigns at the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) where he led the development of Fit for the Future: A vision for general practice. Duleep has worked in policy and influencing roles for over 20 years. He was Head of Policy at Macmillan Cancer Support, playing a key role in campaigns on hospital car parking charges, prescription charges and the financial impact of cancer. Before joining the RCGP in 2018, Duleep worked as Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman where he headed up the Insight and Public Affairs function.
