Mr Paul Chandler

Paul has around 20 years of healthcare management and leadership experience.

Most of his career has been in managing clinical services in acute hospitals, including most recently leading the COVID-19 pandemic response and vaccination programme at a major teaching hospital.  He also spent three years as a Regional Director for Monitor, the regulator for Foundation Trusts.

Paul now leads NHS England’s Net Zero Travel & Transport programme, responsible for ensuring that all journeys linked to the NHS decarbonise as swiftly as possible and reach net zero by 2045.
