Stuart Morris

With over 22 years of experience working nationally and internationally across Blood and Cancer Services, Stuart has been responsible for the strategic leadership of Digital across Velindre University NHS Trust since 2017.

During this time Stuart has built strong working relationships with colleagues from across all aspects of NHS Wales, Academia and Industry.

As a member of the Digital Delivery Leadership Group for NHS Wales, Stuart has experience in the development of digital transformation programmes, through the management and accountability of application, infrastructure, business intelligence, clinical coding, information governance and programme/project management services.

In early 2018, Stuart developed “Cognitive by Design”, a high-level digital vision for how Velindre can play its part in reimagining care for Cancer in South East Wales, which included a digital vision for a new state of the art Velindre Cancer Centre.
