Building a Digital First Future: Digital Primary Care Congress
Due to continuing demand, we are pleased to announce details of our 3rd Building a Digital First Future: Digital Primary Care Congress
“There was a real buzz to this event, with the participants exploring ideas with speakers, but more importantly, actively sharing their experiences with each other in the networking sessions. It was a pleasure to be involved, and I look forward to doing it again!” The Primary Care Foundation talked about their experience at our past Digital Primary Care Congress
“Patients are to be given the option of ‘digital first’ primary care as part of the new NHS Long Term Plan.”
The NHS Long term plan forecasts that primary care and outpatient services will change over the next ten years to a model of tiered escalation depending on need, in which digital tools will support senior clinicians. The plans also state that in 2022-23 all patients in England will have access to a “digital-first primary care offer”, such as online or video consultations.
Digital-first primary care is already enhancing people’s experience through the online ability to manage appointments, order repeat prescriptions and view their medical records.
Over the coming months and years, we can expect developments in areas including:
On the 5th of February 2020 at the Chamber of Commerce, Manchester Convenzis will provide 200 delegates with the opportunity to join the debate on the use of technology within primary care settings.
