Securing Secondary Care Excellence: The Virtual NHS Technology Conference

All around us, a new generation of technology is changing all of our lives. From the mundane but useful, like the ubiquity of satnavs that stop family arguments and warn us of traffic jams, to the profound and extraordinary, like the ability of genomics to design drugs for each individual. The Health Secretary.

In early 2019 plans were announced to completely overhaul the current use of IT systems and technology across the NHS.

  •

2020 has undoubtedly played a key role in forcing NHS organisations to sit up and take note of the productivity increases and money-saving benefits that digital tools and tech can have, our event aims to share some core policy updates and best practices from across the UK.

Our fully immersive Securing Secondary Care Excellence: The Virtual Acute Technology Conference platform will allow you to listen, learn and engage with some key policy-shaping guest speakers, network with peers from across the NHS and meet some of the UK’s most forward-thinking and innovative commercial problem solvers.

As with all Convenzis events, our public sector network is provided with fully funded delegate passes, get in touch today to secure your slot.

Securing Secondary Care Excellence: The Virtual NHS Technology Conference

As our journey through the world of virtual conferences and networking continues, we have made changes to our hosting platform with the aim of providing a more streamlined and interactive experience for delegates.

We will now be hosting our virtual event series via the GoToWebinair platform.

As mentioned this decision has been made with delegates at the forefront of our thinking, further details on using the platform and joining your chosen event will be disclosed in the not too distant future.

Securing Secondary Care Excellence: The Virtual NHS Technology Conference Key Subjects

Technology and IT systems are currently helping drive NHS improvements in areas including;

  • Clinical support: Helping to deliver high-quality care at all times, as part of a network of professionals who can communicate easily with each other, with access to the patient’s records and care plan at the right time and in a usable format, supported by the best in decision support and monitoring tools.
  • Health System Management: Minimising the burden of data collection, bringing together the data necessary for quality improvement and cost reduction, creating a single source of truth for decision making, and enabling complex modelling and forecasting to enhance health and care planning.
  • Network infrastructure Security: Protecting patients’ data from user carelessness and criminal cyber-attack, ensuring the availability of critical systems in an NHS that is now dependent upon information technology to function, as was shown by the recent global cyber-attack.
  • Interoperability: Enabling real-time access to linked, deduplicated, normalised clinical records and personalised care plans for clinical care, can make an individual’s data available to them through browser or app technology or (with their agreement) for remote health monitoring, and can create de-identified versions of this data when appropriate for secondary uses such as clinical research and NHS operational management.

Convenzis Healthcare Event testimonials

What our clients say about us

It was great to join the Convenzis team again for the patient flow event. As always, the team were incredibly accommodating and happy to help. The quality of attendees is always of a high standard and relevant to the patient flow and to us also. We continue to have great discussions and footfall around our stand with no need to try and encourage people to come and see us. Really positive event for us and we look forward to working with Convenzis in the future.

My colleague and I presented at the NHS workforce conference 2023, 19 September. The support and guidance we received from the Convenzis team in the run up to our presentation slot was great, well timed and perfectly pitched. The event itself, again was expertly organised. The conference was well Chaired by Sean, who was very engaging. As an audience member as well as a panel member, I would definitely work with the Convenzis team again.

NHS BSA -

Covenzis delivered an excellent meeting like always - a hubbub of activity focused on future developments within NHS pathology laboratories

I worked with Convenzis, primarily Dan, for the first time this year, putting together a bespoke online event for IBM. He has always been so responsive and accommodating. The team always remained professional and helpful – despite the many demands from our side! They were very keen for us to maximise on the investment and revisit those attendees who had not committed to follow ups.
It was an absolute pleasure doing business with Convenzis and I know there will be more opportunities next year. Looking forward to it!
