It is always a pleasure to find myself chairing events like these. Each time I leave with more and more in my personal battery. Each time, I meet new people with something to share. I particularly love the diversity of the attendees which I don’t often see in other spaces; nursing, medics, AHPs and managers, system and provider, execs and ‘coal face’ care givers; all talking to and with each other.
I genuinely feel passionate about healthcare colleagues taking time out in order to spend time with peers who ‘talk their language’ and understand what it feels like to do their role. To be able to do that in a great environment, with great speakers, and for it to be free is just priceless! (literally)
