BIVDA

The British In Vitro Diagnostics Association (BIVDA) is the national industry association for manufacturers and distributors of in vitro diagnostic tests (IVDs) in the UK, representing over 250 organisations from SMEs to subsidiaries of large multinationals.

We advocate on behalf of this industry to ensure that IVDs play a part not only in the diagnosis of conditions, but in the prevention and treatment of disease. 

We represent our diverse membership to Government, the NHS, and other key stakeholders, shaping policy and practice across critical areas including genomics, near-patient testing, pathology services, and antimicrobial resistance (AMR).
