It was great to join the Convenzis team again for the patient flow event. As always, the team were incredibly accommodating and happy to help. The quality of attendees is always of a high standard and relevant to the patient flow and to us also. We continue to have great discussions and footfall around our stand with no need to try and encourage people to come and see us. Buddy Healthcare was founded in Helsinki in Finland in 2015, to create a digital pathway solution for hospitals and clinics, that managed the flow of patients through treatment.
They are now established in over 2rds of the public hospitals in Finland, a growing number in Germany, as well as the first hospitals in the NHS in the UK.
Most hospitals have strived to eradicate paper while improving the efficiency of their care and improving the experience for patients. The challenge is to save money while improving outcomes and making the entire journey safer, better and quicker.
The Pandemic has created huge backlogs of patients awaiting treatment and this has focussed hospitals on digital transformation now.
