Clinical Practice Research Datalink (CPRD)

Clinical Practice Research Datalink (CPRD), from the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), is a real-world, not for profit research service working with GP practices to improve patient care.

Over 2,400 practices share coded patient data with CPRD. Research using Practices participating inform clinical guidance and best practice, investigating drug safety, use of medicines, effectiveness of health policy, health care delivery and disease risk factors.

Practices and patients can benefit by supporting our high impact, low burden research studies. CPRD provides an opportunity for practices to develop or begin their research portfolio while supporting public health.
