Energy Saving Trust is an independent organisation helping public sector fleets transition to a low carbon future. With over 20 years’ experience, we provide impartial, evidence-based consultancy that supports organisations to cut transport emissions, lower operating costs and progress confidently towards net zero.

Our fleet and mobility specialists have worked with more than 300 organisations including over 60 NHS Trusts and emergency services guiding data driven decisions on fleet decarbonisation. We partner closely with NHS teams to deliver end to end fleet transition reviews, from baselining and phased roadmaps to electric vehicles, to whole life cost modelling and EV charging capacity assessments.

Our approach is built around the operational realities of clinical environments, helping Trusts decarbonise while maintaining service resilience and high-quality patient care. Alongside fleet planning, we also support staff travel and grey fleet reviews, identifying opportunities to reduce carbon, streamline travel policies and ease cost pressures across NHS organisations.
