Aisha Chaudhary, Director of Culture and Inclusion for Lancashire and South Cumbria ICB. My pronouns are she/her.

Coming from Scotland where I worked across sectors, voluntary sector, local authority and NHS I have a deep understanding of the importance of partnership working and joining up our plans to deliver positive outcomes for populations, citizens and patients.

I have a background in Public Health, Health improvement, much of my work has been focused on ensuring services and targeted programmes are designed and delivered to meet the needs of those who often do not access services.

I moved to England in 2016 and have since undertook a number of roles; at a local level with NW London STP, a regional role with NHSE in UEC Transformation and more recently worked in a national role in the People Directorate developing the People Promise as we know it today.

Finally, I finished up after 2.5years in the role of Head of EDI with an internal focus on NHSE workforce. I was the Chair of all Chairs of the Staff Networks, driving the 19% BAME aspirational target, set up the WDES and enabled NHSE to achieve Stonewalls Workplace Equality Index Gold award and 4th place in the Health & Social Care Sector for LGBT+ inclusive practice.

On a personal note, I have a loving family with a grown-up son who keeps me young and on trend (I think!). I am also a practising Muslim, with a Pakistani ethnicity and yes, I do have a Scottish accent. Intersectionality at its best!

I am laser focused on all things culture and inclusion and am enthused to make a difference in Lancashire and South Cumbria.

This is particularly determining for our ICB. As we come together to form our new organisation, I believe it really is a time to refresh our behaviours, plans and strategic objectives. Addressing the existing structural inequalities, de-biasing our processes and practices and ensuring all our people are seen and heard are big on my radar.

Convenzis Healthcare Event testimonials

What our clients say about us

It was great to join the Convenzis team again for the patient flow event. As always, the team were incredibly accommodating and happy to help. The quality of attendees is always of a high standard and relevant to the patient flow and to us also. We continue to have great discussions and footfall around our stand with no need to try and encourage people to come and see us. Really positive event for us and we look forward to working with Convenzis in the future.

My colleague and I presented at the NHS workforce conference 2023, 19 September. The support and guidance we received from the Convenzis team in the run up to our presentation slot was great, well timed and perfectly pitched. The event itself, again was expertly organised. The conference was well Chaired by Sean, who was very engaging. As an audience member as well as a panel member, I would definitely work with the Convenzis team again.

NHS BSA -

Covenzis delivered an excellent meeting like always - a hubbub of activity focused on future developments within NHS pathology laboratories

I worked with Convenzis, primarily Dan, for the first time this year, putting together a bespoke online event for IBM. He has always been so responsive and accommodating. The team always remained professional and helpful – despite the many demands from our side! They were very keen for us to maximise on the investment and revisit those attendees who had not committed to follow ups.
It was an absolute pleasure doing business with Convenzis and I know there will be more opportunities next year. Looking forward to it!
