Angela Hayes

Angela is a Clinical Nurse Specialist employed within Specialist Supportive and Palliative Care at The Christie Foundation Trust in Manchester. She has a clinical background in Intensive Care, Critical Care Management and Teaching.

She has an ongoing interest in Education and leads on Palliative & Supportive Care Education for her department. She has an interest in Tissue Donation and has introduced the practice of Corneal Donation into her Trust.

Angela is also a Climate Change activist and is part of an environmental group both in her private life and in work.  She leads Clinical Sustainability in the hospital.

Her main interest outside work is Music.  She writes music, sings and plays in a band with her sisters (The Hayes Sisters).   She is a wife and mum with busy home life.  She loves gardening and where time allows, loves to spend as much time as she can there
