Barry Richardson

Barry has accumulated over 40 years IT experience and expertise, working predominantly in new fields and both Public and Private Sector for Healthcare and Wealthcare organisations.

Barry’s early career saw the introduction of computers to the office, paper moving to voice (Call Centres), and Calls to the Internet.

In recent years Barry has helped build a new Private Healthcare business (now one of the UK’s top 5 providers to the NHS), and most recently has built a new Cyber Security and Information Security Team at NHSBT for scratch for NHS Blood and Transplant.

A committed people person, coach, mentor, manager and leader, Barry believes is giving people rewarding and engaging work, and loves speaking at events to get new introductions which translates to new ideas for him to explore and create value from.
