Ben Showers

Ben heads up the Digital Transformation Team at NHSX. Ben leads a team of digital and technology professionals on three exemplar projects with NHSX exploring how digital technology can improve the experience of patients and users across screening, cancer and mental health. Prior to leading the Digital Transformation team, Ben was at the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC), working closely with the department and its arms-length bodies to ensure digital projects are delivered in line with government standards and are able to deliver the best possible outcomes. Ben’s civil service career started at the Cabinet Office as a Digital Transformation/Delivery Lead working on both internal and citizen-facing projects. Prior to working in government Ben worked as Head of Digital at a national charity.
