David Davis is a practising paramedic and currently serves as Chief Clinical Information Officer at London Ambulance Service NHS Trust, where he leads digital clinical practice, AI and clinical safety. Within the digital sector he has held national clinical leadership roles in clinical informatics and digital healthcare, including at NHS England (where he also led the NHS 111 Workforce Development Programme), the Health and Social Care Information Centre, and the Department of Health. Additionally, David has been heavily involved in the development of the paramedic profession within the College of Paramedics in the areas of mental health and stroke care. He is a member of the South East Coast Clinical Senate Council, Non-Executive Director of the NHS Clinical Leaders Network and provides expert witness services. He holds an MSc in Digital Health Leadership from the NHS Digital Academy at Imperial College London, is a Fellow of the College of Paramedics and the British Computer Society, and has extensive experience driving service transformation, innovation and informatics in emergency care settings.
