39 years NHS pathology experience, starting as a biochemistry BMS in a small DGH, becoming service director of the largest lab in the southwest, during which time established the Southwest Genomic Hub Laboratory, the Southwest Cervical Screening Laboratory, commissioned a new pathology building, new multi-organisation LIMS and multi-organisation MES. Then a short time in NHS England as Deputy Head of Pathology during the emergency pandemic response. Now director of a forming network covering 5 labs across 4 acute Trusts in Devon and Cornwall.
