Dr Ash Bassi

Dr. Bassi is a highly experienced gastroenterologist specializing in luminal gastroenterology and therapeutic endoscopy. He trained in centers across Wales, London, and Liverpool and holds a Doctorate of Medicine (MD) from Liverpool University. As the core gastroenterologist in the colorectal cancer multidisciplinary team, Dr. Bassi focuses on bowel cancer prevention and management and is an accredited colonoscopist for the National Bowel Cancer Screening Programme. His research interests lie in pharmacoeconomics.

Dr. Bassi serves as the clinical lead for the Cheshire and Merseyside Endoscopy Network and as the NHSE/I lead endoscopy advisor for the Northwest, supporting the national endoscopy transformation programme. He is also Deputy Medical Director at MWL Teaching Hospital.
