Dr Christopher Ross

Dr Christopher Ross is a Product Owner at Salutare, NHS pathologist and clinical innovator. He combines frontline experience in pathology with expertise in digital transformation, clinical safety and healthcare product development. At Salutare, Chris leads the development of clinical ordering and patient monitoring platforms, translating clinical needs into practical, intuitive software. His focus is on connecting diagnostic pathways across organisational boundaries, reducing administrative burden and helping clinicians access the information they need to deliver safe, timely care. Alongside his clinical practice at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, Chris has worked on NHS digital pathology programmes spanning laboratory workflows, system integration, clinical validation and implementation. A former Deloitte Manager specialising in healthcare technology and AI, he brings experience of working across clinical, technical and operational teams to turn ideas into usable services. Chris is a trained Clinical Safety Officer and member of the NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme. He is particularly interested in how clinically led product design and interoperable systems can address everyday pressures in pathology, improve visibility across the diagnostic pathway and support more connected, resilient NHS services.
