Dr David Rosewarne

Dr David Rosewarne is a Consultant Radiologist at The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust, where he holds digital and AI leadership roles alongside clinical work in ultrasound, CT coronary angiography and thoracic imaging. He is Clinical Lead for CLEARaudit, an NHS England-supported programme that uses a large language model to audit radiology reports at scale across Midlands NHS trusts.

Before medicine he read Natural Sciences (physics) at Cambridge, completed a PhD in quantum optics at King's College London and worked in defence signal processing, then retrained in medicine (MB ChB Hons, MRCP, FRCR). He is a Topol Fellow, a member of the Royal College of Radiologists' iRefer Committee, a Visiting Researcher at the University of Surrey and a former Caldicott Guardian for his trust. His focus is using routinely recorded clinical data to measure what services actually deliver, and turning that measurement into change.
