Emily is an addiction psychiatrist who has worked in substance misuse services in London for many years. She is currently the chair of the Royal College of Psychiatrists Addictions Executive and is also a trustee of the College. She is Clinical Director of Addictions at the South London and Maudsley NHS Trust (SLAM) with responsibility for Addiction services across Lambeth, Bexley, Wandsworth and Richmond. She is currently clinical lead for the Alcohol Assertive Outreach Team and has worked with many different treatment populations over time. She is also clinical director for the adult psychiatry service in Southwark.
She is a trustee of Alcohol Change UK. She is a co-chair of the London Joint Working Group on Hepatitis C and attends the Mayors Drug Forum to represent the NHS addictions providers. She is a former ACMD recovery committee chair.
