Dr Luke Pratsides MBBS MSc MRCGP

Luke is a doctor with a broad clinical and academic background. Clinically he has experience working in emergency and acute hospital care, routine as well as out of hours primary care and ophthalmology. Currently, Luke splits his time between his clinic, as a GP in a large London primary care group and his role as a lead clinical advisor in digital development at NHS England. This balance of work means he has a deep understanding of issues faced by NHS staff delivering care on the frontline and can ensure their needs are reflected in the national digital strategy. Academically Luke has been involved in design research to improve the delivery post consultation information for prediabetic patients in primary care.

Luke works across the NHS England digital development projects and is passionate about applying empathic design methodology, keeping the user experience, of NHS staff and patients, central to developing solutions for healthcare challenges.
