Dr. Mayur Vibhuti is a practising GP and the Chief Clinical Information Officer for NHS Kent & Medway ICB, where he leads large-scale digital transformation across a population of 2 million. He is known for turning ambitious ideas into practical solutions that improve person-centred care, support clinicians, and strengthening health systems.
An outcome-driven leader, Dr. Vibhuti has spearheaded AI adoption through a cross-sector Ambient Voice Technology pilot spanning acute, primary, community, and social care settings. This initiative demonstrated how real-world deployment of AI can enhance clinical quality and workforce efficiency while navigating complex governance and safety standards. He has been nominated for a number of national awards, including the HSJ Digital Innovator of the Year 2026.
He has established ICS-wide hackathons across all providers to support frontline digital capabilities, created CXIO and CSO networks for safer digital practice and greater collaboration, and he has led multi-professional leadership programmes that build lasting capability across health and care. Recently he co-delivered the NHS England South East Neighbourhood Health Accelerator Programme.
