Dr Alam has been supporting the UEC programme in NCL as the GP Clinical Director since May 2018. Additionally, he is a GP partner in Haringey. Before this, in 2017 he set up the first GP extended access hub in an Accident and Emergency department nationally, providing GP appointments from 2pm-2am 7 days a week. Furthermore, he has worked as a UEC doctor across several hospitals in the capital.
