It was great to join the Convenzis team again for the patient flow event. As always, the team were incredibly accommodating and happy to help. The quality of attendees is always of a high standard and relevant to the patient flow and to us also. We continue to have great discussions and footfall around our stand with no need to try and encourage people to come and see us. Dr Theresa Barnes is a consultant rheumatologist and associate medical director at the Countess of Chester Hospital Foundation Trust for clinical services, which includes outpatients.
Theresa will be providing overarching clinical leadership for our work to develop and implement guidance and good practice principles for modern outpatient care, including our work to partner with NHS England to develop a strategy for outpatient care.
With previous experience as a chief clinical information officer at the Countess of Chester Hospital, she brings with her an interest in how digital solutions will benefit outpatient transformation.
Theresa has extensive experience in delivering outpatient transformation locally and is passionate about integrating patient care pathways across primary, secondary and tertiary care. Her focus will be on improving patient and staff experience of outpatient care.
