Emma Wright

Emma Wright is a nationally recognised leader in healthcare analytics and digital transformation and is currently Co-Chief Executive Officer at the Association of Professional Healthcare Analysts (AphA), where she is a passionate advocate for the professionalisation of the health and care analytics workforce. Her work focuses on empowering analysts, shaping national policy, and embedding data-driven decision-making at every level of healthcare delivery. With over 25 years of experience in health and care, Emma has held senior roles across the data and digital spectrum. In her current role as Programme Director for Data Readiness at the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust, she leads strategic initiatives to enhance data quality, in readiness for an electronic patient record (EPR) implementation across one of the UK’s largest NHS organisations. She is a registered Leading Practitioner with the Federation of Informatics Professionals (FEDIP) and holds postgraduate qualifications in digital leadership and health data science.
