Fiona Kirk

Fiona Kirk, Clinical Consultant at Ascom UK, has 20 years’ experience within the NHS, initially as a ward sister on a busy neurosurgical ward in Liverpool, then as a midwife in County Durham.

Fiona subsequently spent considerable time in the commercial world, focusing on healthcare medical device products, specifically wound care. This included managing a UK team working on an innovative digital chest drain for thoracic surgery, which became a market-leading product and achieved a NICE guideline.

Fiona’s role at Ascom UK combines her clinical and commercial knowledge and experience to support clinical teams within NHS Scotland, using the Ascom solution portfolio to promote the benefits of technology-enabled care.
