Francisco Soares

Francisco currently works as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner at Newham University Hospital Emergency Department within Barts Health. He also held the role of lead ACP within this post.

His career includes prehospital care, emergency medicine and critical care, both in the UK and Portugal. He has researched and presented a poster at HEE’s conference last year on factors that promote and prevent regulation of Advanced Nursing Practice. He is currently collaborating on the transformation of the initial assessment of patients attending ED.

He completed a MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice and is currently studying a PgCert in Education
