Geoff Wood

I have been a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon for 40 years, worked in one of the busiest trauma units in the UK and for several years as a visiting Consultant to Liverpool Prison. One of my interests is facial trauma surgery having written a textbook on diagnosis and treatment of facial fractures for the non specialist which is standard reference in most Accident and Emergency Departments in the UK. I have taught both under and post-graduates, researched and lectured extensively in the UK and abroad while undertaking a busy NHS and private practice. I am a founder member of the Expert Witness Institute and have considerable experience in medico-legal report writing. I am married with 2 daughters and enjoy playing tennis and clay pigeon shooting.
