Gideon is a public health practitioner with a Master of Public Health from Swansea University, Wales, and a Fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH).
He currently leads a multidisciplinary team within cardiovascular prevention and rehabilitation services at Royal Brompton and Harefield NHS Hospitals. In his role as Smoking Cessation Lead, he supports delivery of the NHS prevention agenda by addressing health inequalities, improving access to evidence-based tobacco dependency treatment, and enhancing cardiovascular outcomes following acute cardiac events.
