Gillian is the Global Head of Microbiology within the Regulatory Services (Medical Devices) stream at BSI. She has been at the Notified Body / Approved Body for over 10 years, starting as a microbiology auditor and technical reviewer. Before this she was a microbiologist at Pall Corporation (now part of Danaher) and in research at the Universities of Leeds and Exeter.
