Heather Caudle

Heather Caudle, Chief Nursing Officer at Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, is a trustee of the Cavell Nurses’ Trust, and a proud member of the Shuri Network whose aim is to increase the number of BAME women within Digital and Health technology leadership.

Heather’s NHS career as a nurse spans 23 years in a range of roles that include: executive chief nurse; eating disorders nurse therapist; and systemic psychotherapist.

In 2017 Heather became the Director of Nursing for Improvement in NHS England where she directed national nursing and midwifery strategic planning and delivery, including Safeguarding.

Heather later led a transformation project across the NHS England / NHS Improvement London region to improve patient experience and outcomes across the interface between mental health and acute hospitals.
