As Chair of AXREM, Huw he plays a central role in aligning industry capabilities with NHS priorities. With nearly 30 years’ experience across the NHS and medical imaging industry, Huw brings deep insight into operational, technological, and policy challenges in UK healthcare.

Alongside his current role as Strategic and Government Relationship Manager at Fujifilm Healthcare UK, Huw champions industry engagement to support health system transformation, particularly in areas like digital diagnostics, workforce innovation, and sustainability. His academic background in theology informs a values-driven approach to leadership, shaped by a commitment to equity, collaboration, and the ethical deployment of innovation.

Huw is a vocal advocate for stronger industry–NHS partnerships, believing that meaningful innovation must be co-produced with frontline challenges in mind. Whether chairing national forums, contributing to government consultations, or representing AXREM on strategic bodies, he consistently calls for integrated, patient-focused solutions to the mounting pressures on the NHS.
