Jackie Shears

Jackie Shears is Associate Director in NHS Digital, currently seconded to the Early Disease Detection Research Programme.
She has worked extensively on high profile, high stress programmes, including the delivery of Mental Health Data Collection.
Through this she has experienced the impact on mental health that high stress working produces, turning the bad experience into good by training as a Mental Health First Aid Instructor. She offers practical, supportive training and awareness to facilitate mentally health workplaces, reduce sickness absence due to stress, and maximise the productivity and retention of staff.
