Southmead Hospital
James leads the hand surgery team at Southmead Hospital, the Bristol Major Trauma Centre, treating a referral population of approximately two million people. He is active in the British Society for Surgery of the Hand and has over 100 publications, including national guidelines for hand conditions. James teaches on several hand surgery courses and will be chairing the national AO hand surgery faculty conference in 2020.
