It was great to join the Convenzis team again for the patient flow event. As always, the team were incredibly accommodating and happy to help. The quality of attendees is always of a high standard and relevant to the patient flow and to us also. We continue to have great discussions and footfall around our stand with no need to try and encourage people to come and see us. Really positive event for us and we look forward to working with Convenzis in the future.

Jane is the Assistant Director of the national Virtual Wards Programme within NHS England. She is currently part of the team leading on the implementation of virtual wards across England.
Building on her experience as a nurse starting her career in York before moving down to London in 2014 to join the team at UCLH which provided the opportunity to experience a number of roles across the trust from Ward Sister to Exemplar Ward Implementation igniting the passion for improvement as part of a multidisciplinary team.
With a strong focus on the power that networks and collaborative learning bring to implementation Jane has continued to focus on improvement leading on the London Enhanced Health in Care Homes programmes before joining the national NHS England team initially leading on the new Digital Community Health Services team before the development of the Virtual Wards programme which is supporting implementation of virtual wards across England.
Having developed a passion for digital through the work within care homes and the use of NHSmail, the focus on continuing to value high quality face to face care alongside the benefits of adopting technology provides an opportunity for virtual wards to enable better connected care which improves the outcomes for our patients and provides new opportunities for our workforce.
