Jenny Saunders

Jenny is a dedicated Practice Nurse at Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust Secure Division and brings a wealth of experience from Emergency Care and General Practice. As a Registered General Nurse she leads many initiatives within the Secure Division including supporting patient compliance with National Screening Programs, Vaccination, Epilepsy and formal education programmes. Passionate about patient empowerment Jenny co-created an accredited Diabetes Education program. She forges strong collaborations with specialists in Respiratory, Neurology, and Endocrinology to ensure equitable care within secure settings. She is a vital part of the compassionate and proactive MDT delivering care across Mersey Care Secure Services.
