Jon Higham

Jon is a Consultant in Oral Medicine and Chief Clinical Information Officer (CCIO) at Birmingham Community NHS Foundation Trust. As a CCIO he is responsible for providing a clinical voice and leadership in digital health transformation, he has led the implementation of remote consultation in the Trust as well as working with regional partners to secure the future of video consultation in the Midlands. He is particularly focused on fostering digital equality when implementing new health technologies. His other areas of interest include electronic patient records, patient held records, patient reported outcomes, and the governance of digital transformation in the Trust.
