Josh Soane

Josh Soane has worked across NHS cancer services for several years, with particular experience in cancer pathways, harm reviews, data quality, and performance improvement. He has worked on the operational problems which sit across both symptomatic and screening pathways, and is committed to improving safety netting to identify patients at risk of delayed or missed care.

Josh is passionate about the role of technology in healthcare and currently supports a number of projects at The Royal College of Radiologists, related to AI and cancer diagnostic workforce challenges. Alongside this, he is developing a growing mixed clinical and research background, with current academic research focused on econometric approaches to cancer screening. Josh offers a unique perspective on improving efficiency and reducing inequity in cancer pathways, combining operational, research, and clinical experience.
