I am a Clinical Pharmacist with over 20 years experience. I am currently leading and developing the Mental Health Pharmacy Service across the Nottinghamshire footprint. The service covers Adult Mental Health, Older People Services and other Specialist Services that include Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Service, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services and Perinatal. I am co-chair of the Mental Health Medicines Optimisation Group, promote and support the medicines safety agenda and am also the pharmacy lead for rapid tranquillisation. I work clinically as a Non Medical Prescriber and am passionate about supporting the medicines agenda with a patient centred approach to ensure parity of esteem for those with a mental illness.
