Maddy is the Senior Strategy Implementation Lead in the DHSC MedTech team. She works across a number of key initiatives to improve medtech adoption, including Value Based Procurement (alongside broader work on medtech evaluations) and the Independent Review: Equity in Medical Devices. In the 2023/24, Maddy led the implementation of the £30m Health Tech Adoption and Acceleration Fund.
Maddy has previously worked in a number of DHSC teams, including the Antivirals Taskforce, the Elective Recovery Delivery Unit, and the Provider Efficiency Team. Before joining the civil service, Maddy spent several years at the BMJ producing the Leaders in Healthcare conference, and the Asia Pacific International Forum on Quality and Safety in Healthcare alongside GP and Physician Masterclasses.
