Marjan is a Ph.D. Researcher at the Department of Architecture and Built Environment, Birmingham City University, UK, specialising in developing digital solutions to provide healthy homes for patients with chronic respiratory conditions. Specifically, her research explores how digital twin technology, integrating indoor air quality and physiological monitoring, can improve respiratory health outcomes in residential and community settings, with a particular focus on COPD. Alongside her research, she serves as President of the BCU CIB Student Chapter, the largest research network in the built environment globally, supporting the community of researchers to succeed in their journey.
