Matt Hennessey

Matt is the Chief Intelligence and Analytics Officer for NHS Greater Manchester. His career began in criminal justice as a drugs keyworker and forensic psychologist but has since held senior positions where he has led:

Drugs, alcohol and preventing violent extremism programmes for the Home Office; the Department of Health’s Public Health National Support Team; and The NW regional intelligence service for Public Health England.

He holds an MBA in Executive Leadership and is an Honorary Senior Research Fellow with Division of Informatics, Imaging and Data Sciences at the University of Manchester.
