Matthew Jones

Matt is a digital transformation leader, experienced in shaping national strategy and leading complex programmes across health and care. His background in enterprise architecture and NHS IT leadership gives him a practical understanding of how to turn strategic ambition into changes that benefit staff and the people they care for. His work across NHS Wales includes shaping the National Target Architecture and its 10-year digital roadmap, leading the All-Wales Infrastructure Programme, and supporting digital transformation at Public Health Wales and the Welsh Ambulance Service. Matt has also led shared care record programmes across England, bringing organisations together to support more joined-up care. He sees the future of EHR as an opportunity to put the individual at the centre, connecting information across services and changing how care is delivered. He brings experience of the digital foundations, organisational collaboration and practical delivery needed to make that ambition a reality.
