Meha Shukla, the founder and Director of Skills-Formation Ltd, a smart city cyber-resilience risk management start-up is an expert in security, assurance, and compliance for cyber resilient smart city services. She conducted research with NCSC & LOTI (London Office of Technology and Innovation) as well as the London Boroughs assess their liabilities and security risks while procuring Internet-of-things (IoT) based infrastructure for smart London developments. Her research at Dawes Institute, University College London (UCL) on “Effectiveness of Cyber security risk management for Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) under Network and Information Security (NIS) legislation in UK” produced valuable recommendations to the UK Government. She currently provides policy recommendations to improve effectiveness of cyber risk management in UK’s charity sector. For her current PhD research on “cyber-physical security of smart street infrastructure of London”, she has engaged with European Horizon 2020 project through UCL to enhance the security models of connected places.
Meha is a business transformation, programme management and cyber risk assessment consultant with over 27 years of global experience across various industry sectors (Finance, Title insurance, Telecom, Manufacturing, Automotive, Meteorology and Health Care). Meha also conducts multiple training courses on Digital risks, security policies, cyber risk assessment and response to developing criminal landscape for professionals and students.
