Nasser Arif

Nasser is a cyber security professional with a strong interest in all thing’s tech, transformation and wellbeing. He has worked within the NHS since 2018, but his dedication and out-of-the-box thinking has helped him progress rapidly over the years from volunteer to Cyber Security Manager for two Trusts.

His educational background in Aeronautical Engineering has equipped him with important transferrable skills which have proven to be invaluable within the cyber security world. Although he has a technical background, Nasser is also passionate about the human element of cyber security and is an advocate for encouraging peers to always aim high and break through any glass ceilings that they encounter.

In addition to his role as Cyber Security Manager, his contributions to the wider industry include articles in the media, organising staff activities and events, speaking at national cyber conferences and shifting the culture to make cyber security more accessible. He has received multiple NHS England awards for his efforts.
