Paul Fitzpatrick

Paul has worked in healthcare; engineering, construction and facilities management for over 35 years, during this time has developed a clear understanding of how to manage the assets and teams who make organisations a success. Aintree and Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals Trusts merged in 2019 to form Liverpool University Hospitals NHSFT and Paul was appointed Director of Estates and Facilities for the new Trust, working with Estates and Facilities teams of the previous trusts to create a single trust wide service. Paul already had delivered a circa £400 million portfolio of healthcare capital projects, when following merger, he was appointed Project Director of the £375 million New Royal Liverpool remediation project which was successfully concluded and occupied in October 2022. Looking forward Paul is leading the future reconfiguring of parts of Aintree, Royal Liverpool, Broadgreen and Liverpool Women’s campuses as part of a wider Integrated Care System approach in Liverpool City Region.
