Philandra Costello

Philandra Costello is Lead Genomics Nurse for the Central and South Genomic Medicine Service Alliance. Having worked as a nurse since 1993, her career has spanned clinical care, research and national genomics programmes. She is passionate about helping healthcare professionals understand and apply genomics in practice, ensuring patients can benefit from advances in personalised medicine. A key focus of her work is improving equity of access to genomic services and supporting the integration of genomics into the future of NHS care
